In a heartbreaking incident, Delhi-based Zomato delivery worker Soham Bhattacharya revealed that his account was „blocked“ by food delivery giant Zomato just days before his sister's wedding. Bhattacharya's emotional encounter was shared by his X users and quickly gained attention online.
The delivery partner, clearly distraught and in tears, informed Soham that Zomato had suspended his account and that he was facing financial hardship.
On March 28, Soham shared a photo of the troubled Zomato delivery partner and appealed to her followers to share the post and spread the word.

Soham's post quickly gained traction online, reaching nearly 2 million views. This caught the attention of both social media users and Zomato. In response to the post, Zomato Care's official X account expressed its understanding of the situation and promised to thoroughly investigate the matter.
