Stephen Colbert noted that Trump's lawyers have argued in court that Joe Biden could legally kill his client.
Colbert said:
Summary: President Trump's lawyers claim that the president (now Joe Biden) could order Seal Team 6 to assassinate political opponent Donald Trump. That's a strange position. That's a very strange position for your lawyer to take. „Sir, there is nothing in the law books that will prevent you from picking up a gavel right now and bashing my client's skull in like a Brazil nut and scooping out the delicious brain meat.“ is allowing it and I am demanding it. For the love of God, smash his skull in.” Yum Yum. Yes Yes. ”
So, to summarize again, playing cards And his lawyers argue that a president should be able to kill political opponents and then be unable to prosecute them unless impeached. Our commander in chief has godlike authority over life and death as long as his party controls the Senate. And what I'm saying is, please vote.

Trump and his lawyers are making up this nonsense about unlimited immunity so they can continue to tie up lawsuits against the former president until they wish, after the 2024 presidential election. If Mr. Trump's lawyers are serious about delaying the case, then any president can do whatever he wants because they are above the court and can only be tried and convicted through the impeachment process. You need to come up with a stronger argument than just claiming that.
Trump's lawyers had said they would not convict him because Democrats control the Senate. bidenit is legal for Joe Biden to kill Donald Trump.
This argument is nonsense, and if the courts were to rule in Trump's favor, it would mean Joe Biden could be acquitted of murder.
