Staffing and labor management company shift med acquired CareerStaff Unlimited, a managed services provider of workforce solutions, in an agreement with Genesis HealthCare, a post-acute care provider.
As part of the seven-year agreement, ShiftMed will serve Genesis' 200 skilled nursing centers and 1,200 PowerVac rehabilitation centers.
CareerStaff's per diem and MSP platform enables healthcare providers to hire staff, consolidating over 1,000 staffing agencies nationwide into one VMS platform. The company manages nursing scheduling, credentialing, shift verification, and billing reconciliation.
ShiftMed offers workforce management solutions such as ShiftMed Flex and ShiftMed On Demand.
The ShiftMed Flex mobile app allows in-house staff to fill schedule gaps, and ShiftMed On-Demand lets you fill open shifts with local nurses and expand your local nursing float pool, allowing your system to provide on-the-go nursing. Helps reduce dependence on.
