SNL sketch goes viral amid Colombian protests: 'Predicted the future'
A 2015 sketch about ISIS on Saturday Night Live went viral after it was posted by a rabbi who said he „prophesied the future,“ and commenters followed it up at Columbia University in New York City. It is associated with tension.
Classes were canceled at the university as a pro-Palestinian protest camp on campus refused to move, despite police arresting more than 100 people on Thursday…
In the skit, guest host Dakota Johnson plays a student who is dropped off at a bus terminal by his father (Taran Killam) on his way to college for the first time. She assured him that her friends were coming to pick her up and that she didn't need to worry.
Then a pickup truck bearing the flag of the terrorist organization ISIS rolled up behind them, and men in military uniforms armed with machine guns and bazookas climbed into the back.
„Looks like your vehicle is here,“ Killam said, adding, „Be careful.“ Johnson leans into the window and says, „Dad, that's just ISIS.“
