Nikki Haley hit back at Trump's claim that he was responsible for the security of January 6th, questioning his mental fitness to serve as president.
Haley said this during a speech in New Hampshire.
Trump was at a rally last night and continues to refer to me over and over again about why I didn't provide security during the Capitol riot. Why couldn't I have handled January 6th better? He wasn't even in Washington, D.C., on January 6th. I wasn't in the office at that time. They say he was confused, he was talking about something else, he was talking nancy pelosi.
He mentioned me multiple times in that scenario. What I'm concerned about, and I don't mean this in a derogatory way, is that when you're dealing with the pressures of the presidency, you start to question whether you're mentally fit to do this. It means that you can't place the person anywhere else. Can not do that. Can not do that. Can not do that.

By the way, these are the only people asking questions. Joe Biden's spiritual fit is someone like Nikki Haley.
This is the first time in the 2024 election campaign that a Republican candidate has attempted something close to attacking Trump or tried to emphasize an attack on President Trump. Mr. Trump is clearly not mentally fit for the office he is running for.

Haley was right. She has nothing to do with 1/6 and if Trump is confusing her with Nancy Pelosi, that's a big problem. It's not that Trump is confused. That's what Trump has done in public, confusing Pelosi and Haley multiple times.
Regardless of whether Republicans want to face this issue, the candidate who has shown himself to be mentally unfit for office is Donald Trump.
