President Trump has asked the United Steelworkers for support, but union president Bruce McCall said the union supports President Biden.
McCall said on Fox News:
We are clearly leaning towards President Biden and intend to support him. I'm sure it will be up to our board to do that in the near future.
But President Biden has really advanced industrial policy in this country, at least in my lifetime, with the infrastructure bill, the IRA, CHIPS, the Science Act. If we do that while making sure we are on a level playing field with the rest of the world, it will lead to real progress in America for industrial workers.

Asked why he wasn't endorsing Biden yet, McCall said, „The board just hasn't met yet.“

Labor is not going to abandon Biden, and it certainly isn't going to abandon him for Donald Trump.
