A radio host criticized White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre for being vulnerable after she abruptly ended an interview after just a few questions.
WBT Radio News Director Mark Garrison asked President Biden about his mental strength and economy in a clip posted on the X social media platform. Both topics are of great interest to American voters.
Jean-Pierre almost immediately objected to the moderator's question about whether Biden had „dementia.“
„It was funny when I told some people what I was talking about with you today. They said, 'Hey, could you just ask her, does the president have dementia?'“ Garrison said. Told.
In a poll earlier this month, Indicated Shockingly, 6 in 10 American adults doubt the president has the acumen to run the country.
Karine Jean-Pierre clearly objected to the question, expressing surprise and disgust that the topic was being brought up.
„I can't believe you're asking me this question. That's an incredibly offensive question,“ she quickly retorted.

Karine Jean-Pierre can't cope
The White House press secretary treated the issue of „dementia“ in the same way as always, suggesting that President Biden's performance at work was proof that he was mentally sound.
„If you really look at his record and what he accomplished, you see how focused he has been on the American people,“ she says. „How historic his actions were.“
„I'm not even going to take the premise of your question seriously. This is incredibly insulting and I'll move on to the next question.“
But she didn't seem ready to move on to the next question.
“Gasoline prices and grocery prices,” Garrison begins. „How will Mr. Biden win votes when people don't have that much disposable income?“
Like clockwork, Karine Jean-Pierre falsely claimed that gas and food prices had fallen, while blaming Russian President Vladimir Putin for rising prices. (That's not the case. It's not lower than when Biden entered the Oval Office, it's lower than the historic high Biden brought.)
And then it seemed like she'd had enough.
„Well, thank you very much, Mark. Have a great, wonderful day,“ she said before ending the interview.
The host was left stunned.
After Karine Jean-Pierre popped out, one of the participating hosts simply repeated the word „amazing.“
„You asked three or four very salient and important questions, and they were all in your head. Nothing is out of scope,“ says Garrison's co-host.
„I can't understand this person's vulnerability.“
The White House responded to the controversy by accusing the station of a „manufacturing controversy.“
„As the President often does when he travels, Ms. Karine conducted multiple consecutive interviews with radio stations, each lasting seven minutes,“ the statement provided. daily beast I will explain.
“Once the agreed time was up, she called for another round of interviews to make sure everyone was there full-time,” the article continues. “This particular station chose not to broadcast the full interview and instead added an artificial sound effect that would prevent a cell phone from ringing at the end of the call.”
Karine often bristles at questions about Biden's mental health. She also blamed the former CNN host Don Lemon Thank you for daring to ask such a question.
