President Trump posted on Truth Social:
It's really sickening to see our constitutional freedom of speech, which is such a huge part of life in our country, being taken away so unfairly, especially by the scumbags, scumbags, and scammers you're against. Everyone in the group is allowed to make absolute statements. whatever they want. It's hard to sit and listen to lies and false statements made against you, even in the most modest way, but if you do comply, you'll probably be sent to prison by a corrupt and highly inconsistent judge for the following reasons: It's hard knowing what you'll be told you'll be let in. long period.
All this fascist thinking comes from DC. This is a sophisticated hit piece against Crooked Joe Biden's political opponent, me. Judge Engoron and Judge Kaplan, also in New York, are similarly corrupt, just in different ways. What these thugs are doing is an attack on the Republican Party and our once great country. Our First Amendment must remain free and strong. “Give me freedom or give me death!”
Trump is completely martyr here because he is afraid of going to jail, but he also thinks it will help him politically. What he doesn't seem to understand is that being locked up won't do him any good. Incarceration would only confirm that for the majority of Americans who already hold the belief that Donald Trump is a criminal.
Donald Trump doesn't want to go to jail, but is trying to use his constant violation of gag orders to motivate his supporters. Because so far there has been nothing for supporters to take part in or take an interest in his trial.
The gag order has thwarted President Trump's plans to use the court case as a campaign tool, so he is playing the victim on Truth Social and hoping it will spread. Because his fan base is decreasing.
