Aberdeen interim head coach Peter Leven will miss Saturday's visit to St Johnstone after undergoing „emergency treatment“.
A brief club statement said the 40-year-old was admitted to hospital on Friday night.
Scott Anderson will lead the team, supported by fellow coaches Craig Samson, Jonny Hayes and Stuart Duff.
Leven, who attended a press conference on Friday morning, served as interim head coach twice this season following the sacking of Barry Robson and stepped up again following the departure of Neil Warnock.
If Aberdeen win, any fears of them being dragged into the relegation play-offs will be allayed.
St Johnstone are unbeaten in three games against the Dons this term and are just one point behind Ross County in 11th place.
