Personify Care and Foxo Announce Integrated Patient Management Solution
Personify Care and Foxo have announced a strategic partnership that will combine the companies' technologies to improve patient management.
According to a media release, the integration will give health services access to Foxo's enterprise communications technology within Personify Care's digital patient pathway platform. Foxo users will also have access to Personify Care's digital pathways for advanced patient coordination.
The integration also introduces Foxo into Personify Care's pre-hospital workflow, facilitating precise triage and coordination of clinical tasks from providers' existing messaging platforms or Microsoft Teams.
Consultmed launches AI-powered advice and guidance feature
Consultmed has introduced a generative AI-based clinical decision support tool into its referral management software.
Available as an add-on or standalone product, the new Advice & Guidance AI capability leverages Microsoft's OpenAI to suggest relevant clinical guidelines and policies based on presented complaints and referral reasons.
Based on media statements, the AI will have access to a customizable database of clinical guidelines and will be able to use approved guidelines from individual hospitals and various organizations.
„We streamline the search, accuracy, and utility of[many clinical and research guidelines and protocols]making them readily available to healthcare providers, patients, and consumers,“ explained founder and CEO Vikram Palit in a LinkedIn post.
TMG Cloudland Acquires Primary IT
Wellington-based healthcare IT services and support provider Primary IT has been acquired by TMG Cloudland for an undisclosed amount.
Primary IT CEO Matthew Leahy said in a joint statement that joining TMG Cloudland would enable the company to offer clients „a broader range of services and advanced technology.“
„We understand the current challenges in primary health, including budget and resource pressures. By combining our strengths, we can support providers to effectively do more with less, ensuring continued delivery of high-quality care,“ added Richie Jenkins, chief customer officer at TMG Cloudland.
„Abi“ arrives at Venetas' elderly care facility
Venetas, an aged care service in Victoria, has begun trialing an AI-enabled humanoid robot developed by a Sydney-based startup. Andromeda Robotics.
A companion robot, Abi, joins the Veneta family's extensive lifestyle program. Abi runs on a GPT4 AI model to recognize people, answer questions and customize conversations.
Abi, who speaks more than 90 languages, is being trialled at Benetas' St George aged care facility.
