Republican Sen. J.D. Vance (R-Ohio), a Democratic strategist, said Fox News was wondering why Republicans would join in defending former President Donald Trump's affair with a porn star. ) was asked repeatedly.
Read the biggest developments Michael Cohen's testimony.
FOX: Democratic strategist said, „Why are they all choosing to defend their relationships with porn stars?“ is that what you are doing?
JD Vance: No, not at all. I mean, I was there to support a friend. pic.twitter.com/nGmi4Xy4Rx

Vance also suggested that he and many others „like what he represents.“
FOX: Democratic strategist says, „Why would they defend an affair with a porn star?“ is that what you are doing?
JD Vance: No, not at all. I mean, I was there to support my friend, apart from the political implications of this trial, but we'll figure it out. I think this is a very depressing way to spend five or six weeks of his life when he knows he's innocent, like Donald Trump knows he's innocent too. . yourself. I asked to come to court and be a friendly face in court. And that's all I wanted to do. So many people want to come show their support for the president. Because they actually like what he represents. They think this trial is tragic and I want to show some support to my friend who I think is a good thing and a great thing. That's certainly what I wanted to do there.
Vance's answer is not a strong one, and if Republicans are going to gaslight the country on this, they need to make some changes soon. One question is, if J.D. Vance was there to support a „friend“ on trial for 34 counts of falsifying business records to cover up his affair with a porn star, why should taxpayers pay for him? The question is, will you be funding your time?
Donald Trump is currently a convicted rapist and has been accused of sexual misconduct by at least 26 women from the 1970s to 2016. In other words, this is a pattern. He boasted about it in the Access Hollywood tape, which was recorded in September 2005, just months after he married Melania Trump in January 2005.
In March 2006, Melania gave birth to her only child, Barron. In June 2006, Playboy model Karen McDougal claims her relationship with Trump began and lasted several months. In July 2006, Trump is said to have had an affair with Stormy Daniels.
Just yesterday, Michael Cohen testified in court that Donald Trump isn't worried about what Melania thinks. She wanted to know what was going on with him, because (to paraphrase) „he won't be on the market for long.“
In other words, a political party that claims to be too cultish and „Christian“ cannot condone abortion, even if it saves the mother's life or is the result of incest or rape. The Bible doesn't actually mention abortion directly — I have no problem with the sin of adultery in the Bible, which actually comes up repeatedly.
Here are some examples of what the Bible says about adultery.
Exodus 20:14: “You shall not commit adultery.
Hebrews 13:4: “Marriage should be performed with honor among all people, and the marriage bed should not be defiled, for God will judge the sexually immoral and adulterous.”
How about this?
Deuteronomy 22:22: “If a man is found lying with another man’s wife, both the man and the woman who were lying with her will die; so you will bring evil out of Israel. We have to clean it up.”
The Bible is clear about adultery, yet Christian Republicans tolerate adultery with porn stars and Playboy models.
But these same Christian Republicans do not condone the one thing that is not mentioned in the Bible at all. This is not mentioned, but the Christian Republicans feel so strongly that it will endanger the lives of women and girls.
Here they are, led by Chairman Mike Johnson (whose son had to monitor his porn use), who believes God chose him for this moment.
The common thread is that in both cases these „Christian“ Republicans are siding with men against women. It's safe to assume that they wouldn't stand by as a woman cheated on her husband multiple times, weeks after the birth of their child.
But here they are…just helping a „friend“. It's such a flimsy excuse that it reminds me of parents who ask their kids if they're going to jump off a bridge just because their friend did. Are these adults really that spineless? Don't they have values beyond their own ambitions?
Hand it to FOX News, who asked members of the Forced Birth Party why they support a man who had an affair with a porn star weeks after his wife gave birth. Women voters deserve to hear the answer because this question gets to the heart of how the Republican Party views women.
